Silver Tails Hand Held Massager for Senior Pets can help increase blood flow and cell generation, soothe aching joints & muscles, speed up healing and improve flexibility. http://www.petco.com
Hello again. I'm Gary Irvick. I'm with my senior golden retriever, Champ Irvick. And I'm demonstrating the use of the Silver Tails handheld massager. This is obviously a massager that fits in the palm of a hand. It has larger knobs on the front and smaller knobs on the back to get deeper tissue massage for dogs. It's expandable for larger size paws like mine. And it's flexible. The key benefit here is it allows for tactile connection with your pet. In this case, I can feel for lumps or things going on underneath the surface of the skin or the coat. And if there's any damage there, I can make note of that, bring him to a vet. But I can also use the larger balls for deeper tissue massage, the smaller balls for less deep tissue massage. And as you can see from Champ, he kind of enjoys this, just like people would, I'm sure, if they were at the masseuse. So he will let me do this for an extended period of time. Enjoys every minute of it. And it's beneficial to him, as it improves his circulation, helps to relieve aches and pains, and it reduces stress. So all good benefits for probably all dogs, but especially dogs that are seven years old or older. And Champ is 10, so he qualifies.
