Now there's a power filter which combines high-end performance and multiple filtration options.
Before installing the Emperor power filter, you should familiarize yourself with each of its parts. Here we have the filter box, the two-way hinged cover, two media containers, the filter cartridges, the mid-level intake strainer, the extension tube, and the strainer. First, open and fill one side of the media container with the activated carbon. Then close the container once it has been filled. Next, thoroughly rinse both the filter cartridges and the media containers in order to remove any excess carbon dust. Now, you're ready to install your filters. Begin by inserting the filter cartridges with the blue side towards the back of the filter box. Next, insert the media cartridges directly in front of the filter cartridges. To assemble the intake tube, simply attach the mid-level intake strainer to the extension tube. And then attach the opposite side of the extension tube to the strainer. Now, place the assembled Emperor on the back of the aquarium frame. Insert the intake tube into the flow manifold housing. Next, make sure the BIO wheels are in place before placing the hood on the back of your filter box. Press down to secure the sides. You're now ready to start your Emperor power filter. This setup was done dry. But Marineland encourages you to use water for your filter to run effectively from start up.
